A delegation led by Prof. Dr. Dilek Altun, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Boğaziçi University, and Prof. Dr. Özkan Sapsağlam, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Yıldız Technical University, visited our Rector’s Office on June 12, 2026 ( ). The delegation was received by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik, in his office.
During the visit, the Dean of our Faculty of Educational Sciences, Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sevimli, along with Associate Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Fakioğlu Bağcı and Dr. Mutlu Aksoy, were also present to accompany the visiting delegation.
The meeting addressed opportunities for academic collaboration between universities, joint efforts to enhance educational activities, and current developments in higher education. The meeting also evaluated opportunities for collaboration aimed at increasing academic mobility, including joint scientific research, project work, and the organization of conferences and workshops that could be carried out between faculties of education.
The meeting emphasized the importance of sharing knowledge and experience between universities and featured an exchange of ideas on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation. The meeting concluded with the hope that the visit would contribute to the development of academic relations among Istanbul’s long-established universities, the increase in joint scientific studies, and the strengthening of collaborations in the field of higher education.
