The Istanbul Medeniyet University Senate and Board of Trustees meetings were held at the newly opened Üsküdar Campus of Medeniyet Technopark, chaired by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik.
During the meetings, where topics on our university’s academic and administrative agenda were discussed, Senate and Board of Trustees agenda items were reviewed and various decisions were made. Following the meetings, participants toured the Medeniyet Technopark Üsküdar Campus.
As part of the visit, participants toured the artificial intelligence laboratories, incubators, coworking spaces, and event areas operating at the campus and received information about the ongoing work at . While examining the facilities—designed to contribute to the technology development, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystem—on-site, the activities carried out within the technology park were evaluated.
Our Secretary General and Medeniyet Technology Park General Manager Ali Ramazan Tak delivered a comprehensive presentation to the participants during the visit, covering the technology park’s current activities, ongoing projects, and future goals. Tak provided information on Medeniyet Technology Park’s contributions to the entrepreneurship ecosystem, technology-focused initiatives, and activities aimed at strengthening university-industry collaboration.
As part of the program, consultations were also held on potential initiatives to foster collaboration between academia and industry. Projects, research and development activities, and entrepreneurship-focused efforts that would bring together our university’s expertise with the needs of the industry were evaluated, and ideas were exchanged on expanding areas of joint collaboration.
The program, during which the facilities offered by the Medeniyet Technology Park Üsküdar Campus were inspected on-site, concluded with a group photo.
