INTERNATIONAL BALKANS COOPERATION CONGRESS
(May 13-15, 2026, Istanbul Ticaret University, Istanbul/Türkiye)
The International Balkans Cooperation Congress serves as an academic cooperation platform addressing the cultural and economic potential of the Balkans from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Our primary goal is to synthesize theoretical accumulation with regional development dynamics, thereby contributing academically to the construction of a permanent common ground and a sustainable culture of cooperation among stakeholders. We invite valuable scientists who wish to analyze the existing potential of the Balkans and region-specific development dynamics with a scientific approach to examine the current state of regional cooperation mechanisms and to reveal the scientific foundations of development through this intellectual process.
Within the framework of the determined main themes, our congress is open to original and qualified studies from all social science disciplines focused on the region, particularly Economics, Sociology, Literature, Education, History, Political Science, Theology, Law, and Communication Studies. The main target audience of our congress consists of academics, researchers, civil society and private sector representatives, as well as graduate (master's and doctoral) students working on the region.
The congress is free of charge for all participants. For speakers with accepted papers, accommodation expenses for domestic participants and both accommodation and travel expenses for international participants will be covered by the organization.
