International Conference on Cyber Politics, Cybersecurity and International Relations


The Istanbul Bosphorus International Cyberpolitics, Cyberlaw and Cybersecurity Conference is an annual four-day event presented jointly by Cyberpolitik Journal and Centre for Cyber Politics Research of Association for Human Rights Education (IHED) in conjunction with academia, government and private industry organizations. The Istanbul Bosphorus International Cyberpolitics and Cybersecurity is the most significant conference and exhibition of cyber-related political issues in Turkey.

The conference provides participants with a unique and special opportunity to get acquainted with the latest innovations and solutions featured by the international cyberpolitics community. The main focus will be on networking, strengthening alliances and forming new connections.

The conference will present a wide range of issues including problem solving strategies and solutions for the global cyber threat that meet the diverse challenges for different sectors: politics, finance transportation, utilities, defense, R&D, manufacturing, telecommunication, health and government.

Among the members of the organizing committee are Prof. Dr. Hamza Ateş, of our Faculty of Political Sciences and Director of IMU’s Center for Civilization Studies (ISMAM), Prof. Dr. Ahmet Nohutçu of our Faculty of Political Sciences, and Assist. Prof. Murat Tümay of our Faculty of Law, who also acts as a member of the Board of Association for Human Rights Education (IHED).  

The conference will take place in our Center for Civilization Studies (ISMAM) in Altunizade, Istanbul and will start at 10:00 on May 19th with inauguration speeches by Assist. Prof. Murat Tümay, Prof. Dr. Hamza Ateş, Assoc. Prof. Nezir Akyeşilmen, Editor-in-chief of Cyberpolitik Journal, and our Rector Prof. Dr. M. İhsan Karaman.
